New dual SFP converter switch
Convert anything! The latest technology of SFP fibre transceivers has been integrated into the Gb Converter Switch™ package to produce the CSG14U Universal Converter Switch.
It can handle any Gb fibre type – multi-mode and single-mode – and fibre media distance with a selection of Gb SFP fibre transceivers, up to two of which can be plugged in.
It can handle any 100Mb fibre media type and distance in the same way, with a selection of 100Mb SFP fibre transceivers that similarly plug in. And, for copper media attachment, there is a 10/100/1000 auto-negotiating RJ-45 port. Where Gb Ethernet is in use, the CSG14U converts all media combinations. Shipping late Jan 2009.
