KEMA tests IEC61850 standards in GarrettCom Switches.

Furthering its position in the power utility industry - GarrettCom, a leader in hardened networking products, provided its 6K Switches with MNS SECURE software for 61850 GOOSE messaging testing.

The third party testing was conducted by KEMA, a well-respected laboratory for testing and certification for substations, tested the Magnum 6K switches for functionality and performance. The KEMA tests were done to confirm compliance with IEC 61850 standards.
