Motorways in the UK using GarrettCom products

In a bid to decrease congestion and increase safety on the UK’s roads the Highways Agency decided to try a new approach. In partnership with professional services group Mouchel Parkman, a strategic plan was developed to improve traffic flow within the UK’s existing infrastructure and road systems.

Mouchel Parkman chose GarrettCom’s field hardened 6K16 managed switch and innovative redundancy manager S-Ring. GarrettCom’s 6K16 Switch is housed in a tough steel casing and is designed for temperature uncontrolled environments, and so is ideally suited to connect the locations on the roadside together.
